PANUNUMPA NG SINUMANG MANINILBIHANG PANGULO

Hindi nga hari ang Pangulo—at bawal ang hari sa Konstitusyon—ngunit hindi maiiwasang siya ay gagawing ehemplo ng marami. Kaya ang mabuting Pangulo ay tumutupad ng sinumpaan niya, hindi taga-sira ng ating sumpaang-bayan na Konstitusyon.

ANG KATUNGKULAN NG PANGULO

Hindi po hari ang Pangulo, at hindi po siya pwedeng maging diktador. 𝗦𝗶𝘆𝗮 𝗽𝗼 𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗼𝗱-𝗯𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗮 𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝗲𝘅𝗲𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 (Article XI, section 1, see non-exemption from COA audit in Article IX, D, section 3).

KATULAD NI HESUS, DALAWA ANG LEVELS OF ENGAGEMENT NG KRISTIYANO SA SOCIETY

So as Christians, we pray, and we speak according to God’s instruction to do good by seeking justice (Isaiah 1:17). And there is nothing more publicly unjust in our present conditions than to see Filipino public officials justifying the wrong that they have inflicted on our national soul by doing the very things that the Bible condemns: corruption and injustice (Isaiah 61:8).
